Jemez Springs
is located in Northern New Mexico 1 hour
northwest of Albuquerque and 1.5
hours southwest of Santa Fe . The Jemez Mountains offer a
beautiful, unspoiled, and culturally rich atmosphere. The workshop draws
participants from around the country and internationally.
Hummingbird
Music Camp, where the workshop is held, is situated in the heart of the Jemez Mountains among the
tall pines and towering peaks along the banks of the Jemez River . You can explore serene forest trails, natural hot springs , and
magnificent rock formations, or fish in the river.
The
nearby town of Jemez
Springs is a favorite recreation spot. Treat yourself to a hot
mineral bath, herbal wrap or massage in the Jemez Springs Bath House or hike
to the natural hot springs nearby. The
galleries and cultural attractions of Santa Fe and Albuquerque are only a
short drive away.
